Carefully selected high-quality cotton
All Airmerry products are made with 100% cotton on the skin side (with the exception of some series). The cotton used is carefully selected.
Depending on the series, the surface material may be different, with the front and back made of different materials. The combination of different materials also takes into consideration the characteristics of each yarn, as well as the compatibility of the two yarns, such as differences in twist and performance, and is carefully devised in the knitting method. This is to prevent the fabric from warping and the product from losing its shape.
The thread material has various characteristics, but the side that touches the skin is made of cotton to make it gentle on the skin. "Material first" is Angle's belief.

The yarn and knitting are ingenious, and the craftsmanship shines through.
Creating soft and fluffy yarn
The surface material of Airmerry varies depending on the series. Depending on the surface material, the cotton thread on the skin side is also changed.
We use "softly twisted yarn," which has been twisted as few times as possible. The special feature of this yarn is that it is soft and fluffy. Air gets trapped in the gaps in the loosely twisted yarn, giving it a fluffy, soft texture.
Special bag knitting
Airmerry's fabric is a special knit called bag knit, in which two pieces of fabric are connected into one.
Using a two-stage knitting machine with upper and lower needles, the jersey fabric is knitted with both needles, and the loops on the upper needle are crossed and locked at regular intervals with the loops on the lower needle. By repeating this process, the two pieces of jersey fabric are joined together. The joined areas become dots, and by knitting this repeatedly, they become linear. The cross section of the fabric has rows of straw-like air spaces. These air spaces trap the air warmed by body heat, making the fabric fluffy. This fluffy yarn and fluffy fabric create a double warming effect.
