The key to asamerry's distinctive "crisp" feel is the tightly twisted yarn, which is then gas-burned to remove the fuzz. First, the yarn is made by tightly twisting the yarn using a unique method, and then the fuzz of the resulting ultra-fine two-ply yarn is carefully removed by gas-burning. This delicate processing of the yarn makes the surface beautifully smooth, resulting in a refreshingly crisp yarn that feels "smooth and crisp to the touch."

asamerry is a specially knitted fabric that achieves "cotton underwear with the comfort of linen." Unlike ordinary knits, the stitches form a uniquely shaped loop, which reduces the area that comes into contact with the skin, making it feel smooth and comfortable to wear. The large gaps also allow air to pass through easily, making it refreshing to wear.
asamerry also uses a variety of knitting methods to suit different uses, such as rib knitting, which has excellent weft stretch and provides a comfortable fit, and jersey knitting, which is flat but has just the right amount of stretch.

The fabric is set using steam. It is not pressed down more than necessary, so the unique crisp texture is not lost. Each piece is cut precisely by hand. The sewing machine needles used are one size thinner than standard to prevent pinholes. In the inspection process after sewing, the front and back pieces are inspected separately and thoroughly.
